Ocean Winds attended the recent ‘Toys for Engineers’ Event held in South East Technological University (SETU)

Ocean Winds was delighted to attend the recent ‘Toys for Engineers’ Event held in South East Technological University (SETU) and facilitated by the Waterford Chamber of Commerce. It was a perfect opportunity to showcase our Celtic Horizon Offshore Wind project located off the coast of counties Waterford and Wexford, it is envisaged that the project could generate up to 700 Megawatts (MW) of clean renewable electricity, enough to power up to 657,000 Irish homes per annum.

Now in its fifth year, this national event is for anyone in Engineering, Tech, Pharma, Biomed, Agri-Food, Manufacturing, Construction & Renewable Energy industries or anyone with an interest in new and emerging technologies. The Expo featured over 100 stands with cutting edge start-ups to multi-nationals sharing ideas and learning the latest innovations in technology.
