Ocean Winds present at Navigating to 2050: A safe and sustainable maritime future conference

Ocean Winds was delighted to attend and participate as an event sponsor of the Navigating to 2050: A safe and sustainable maritime future conference, organized by the Commissioners of Irish Lights, in Dublin.
Offshore renewable energy development presents great opportunities for the maritime sector, involving ports, maritime infrastructures, environmental protection measures, etc. Therefore, to achieve an efficient and sustainable route towards the 2030 Irish government environmental objectives, how to manage these issues in Ireland need to be tackled, and this conference was a great opportunity!
During this event, OW team members were able to meet different stakeholders and share with the sector, as the third session of the conference was focused on offshore, A Changing Offshore Seascape – Keeping it Safe.
Moreover, our Ocean Winds team had a stand where attendees could learn more about the company’s Irish projects Celtic Horizon and Réalt na Mara, which could generate up to 2.3 GW of clean energy. It was also an important moment to share on OW’s portfolio of projects and experience in terms of working hand in hand with the maritime sector!
